Sain vihdoinkin valmiiksi tuon ompeluprojektin, siihen menikin melkein kolme viikkoa! Oma vikani, kun koko ajan keksin mitä kaikkea pientä kivaa voisin siihen lisäillä. Liekö ollut ajanhukkaa, kun kirjanen nyt joutuu pikkupojan käsittelyyn... Ehkä siitä tulee semmoinen kirja, jota luetaan yhdessä isän tai äidn kanssa, niin voidaan samalla vahtia mitä pikku koristeille tapahtuu. Tekeminen oli tosi mukavaa, tosin alkoi tulla hoppu loppua kohden, halusin kirjan luonnollisesti valmiiksi ennen joulua! Tässä muutama kuva:


 

 

Finally I finished this little fabric book - "The First Christmas". It took almost three weeks, but I can only blame myself as I kept finding so many nice little embellishments etc. which I wanted to add. Maybe it has all been waste of time since the book is now supposed to be "read" by a tiny boy. Perhaps it makes more sense to read the book with him, in that way we can keep an eye on the decorations of the book and little boys fingers that are so quick to grab everything that stands out. Making the book was great, although towards the end I had to rush a bit - naturally I wished to have the book ready before Christmas!
